Saber – pajamas version
For my first serious figure post, I felt that it would be appropriate to use the very first anime figure I ever bought.
I bought Saber back in October of 2005 from a Hong Kong based site called Gensen Figure. I was originally aiming to buy a 1/7 or 1/8 scale figure but being fresh out of high school and no job, all I could afford was a trading figure (gashapon if I remember the term correctly). The trading figure boxes had a random figure inside so from the images I saw on the site, I was hoping to get Rin or armored Saber.
It took no more than a week from the time I ordered her to the time she arrived at in my mail. At first I was disappointed that I did not get the figure I wanted but after realizing that she was a secret figure, I was quite over joyed.
Anyway, enough of me blabbing, time to post some pictures.
One thing I noticed while touching up the pictures is that my camera is quite good at taking macro pictures that it caught areas where I missed dusting as well as areas where lint from the tissue I used for cleaning of said dust got left behind.

This mug has a nice picture on it and when one considers how small it is, it’s quite amazing
Don’t know why WordPress was having a problem displaying the mug pic on a medium sized thumbnail. I’ll stick with the small thumbnail for now.
This figure is quite simple and there’s not much to take pictures of. Hopefully my next one will have a lot more (unless I decide to do the armored version).
