While working on my homework 2 weeks ago, Jigo sent me a text message that that a certain headphones that I’ve been eying for a long time was on sale. Needless to say, I jumped right on it.
First thing to announce: I’m finally done with my summer class! I get to relax for an entire month 😀
Eila: Wisedog, you have a package
Wisedog: Why thank yo- oh wait… that kind of package.
Eila: Hey!
Sanya: Two came in today. What did you get us?
Wisedog: Open it up and take a look.
Eila: I-i-is THAT what I think it is?!
Sanya: I think so Eila
Eila: OMG IT IS! You’ve been wanting these forever!
Eila: This sounds so good!
Sanya: It’s a good step up from your Logitech headset. I love the sound.
Wisedog: Yup, I’m loving it too. Let’s see what’s in the other box.
Sanya: Why did you get another microSD card when you don’t have a camera or cell phone that uses it?
Wisedog: You’ll see.
Eila: Why did you get these earcups?
Wisedog: Well, I’ve read that the original pleather earcups on the MDR-V6 tends to fall apart after a few years and some users reported that it gets uncomfortable on the ears. I decided to get these since a lot of owners say velour feels so much better than the pleather.
Eila: Keeping your ears comfortable is important during extended periods of use.
Sanya: So this explains why you got that microSD card.
Eila: Make sure you keep us in focus!
Wisedog: But the tablet is supposed to b-
Eila: JUST DO IT!

Size comparison between the vivotab note 8 and the nexus 7 (2012). Definitely a lot bigger than what I was expecting. I got the vtn8 for the fall semester since I’m tired of lugging around my large laptop when I need to do stuff beyond web browsing and reading pdfs.
Just some extra shots of my headphones. I think I’ll ask wortham to do an image of a dog wearing these.
I ordered my headphones about a week before my tablet yet they both arrived on Wednesday. It took every ounce of patience in me not to open up the boxes and blow off my essay. Once I got home yesterday, I was running on 36+ hours of no sleep so I decided to just do a really quick photo session on my very dusty bed >_< then exhaustion took over and I fell asleep until 5 am.
I’m very happy with my headset as I never realized just how much the bass on my Logitech headset was washing out some of the details in my music.
Unfortunately, getting these pretty much screwed up my Otakon dealer room budget. It’s for the best anyway as I don’t think it’ll be safe for me to be traveling on the Greyhound with boxes of figurines and gundams stuffed in my luggage. I’ll restrict my purchases to manga, dvd/blurays, and maybe a puzzle.
