Long overdue figma post

Wisedog: Well look what just arrived.
Haruka: May I open it ? I promise to be careful and not to run around with the blade extended.
Wisedog: Sure Haruka, go open it up.
Wisedog: I wonder what could be inside.
Haruka: You should know, you’re the one who ordered this thing.
Wisedog: Awesome, more new sisters for you to play with!
Haruka: YAY!
Back in May 2010, AmiAmi was having a sale and I saw the Fate figma was in stock. I also had Fate pre-ordered with Toyslogic but it was stuck in pre-order hell (my pre-order kept getting pushed back every month). I decided to get Fate from AmiAmi along with Kagami while keeping my Fate/Nanoha pre-order still open. Not even after 30 minutes of having the box open, disaster struck….
Fate: NOOOO! My beautiful twin-tails!
Wisedog: Oh shi- I didn’t mean to break it!
Fate: WHY DID YOU LET THIS HAPPEN?! I haven’t even been here for more than 30 minutes.
Wisedog: T___T I’m sorry. It will never ever happen again. Let me find a way to fix it.
While unboxing Fate, I tried to separate her twin-tail from her head in order to remove the plastic sheet that protected the paint job while being transported. Unfortunately the joint was not as strong as the other one and broke off with just a little tug. Luckily I had some super glue near by to fix things. After a small drop of glue and a few minutes to settle in, she was good as new… well almost.
Kagura: Since you and I are the only ones with weapons, we must duel each other to decide who will control the small harem.
Fate: I will become the hAREMM@STER!
Kagami: Stop that both of you!
Due to the shock from this incident, I’ve never taken any action shots with my figmas after the pic above. I’d like to take new pics here but the temperature gets so hot even in the evening that I’m afraid they’d melt before I have time to set up my tripod.
Aside from Haruka (Revoltech), Fate, Kagami, and Kagura, Nanoha and Caro Ru Lushe are the only other figmas that have arrived at my door. I wish I could get my hands on a couple more. Most have already been released but one that’s not out yet is the Akemi Homura figma. I’d also like a Tomoe Mami figma to go along with her too. Do want ;__;
