FM10
Thanks to this convo, I decided to go searching for my SLR.

Took me a while to find it but I now know that it’s a Nikon FM10. As far as I can tell, the lenses need cleaning and the battery hatch is missing.
I still think a digital camera would be better for me as I have grown accustomed to the digital convenience. For now, I have no intention of getting rid of the FM10. I think I’ll keep it around just for nostalgia or maybe as a replacement if my Dad’s SLR ever breaks (I still don’t know what model his is).
Despite the lack of funds and the recent increase in price, I’m going to keep an eye on the Lumix LX3 and hope that one day I can afford to buy one.
* correction: I was 11 because the FM10 did not come out until 1995 and my Dad got his Nikon in 1996.
My camera works great except for the occasional fuzzy ass pic.
