Sleepyhead

SleepySo far, my body is getting used to waking up early again. I haven’t had too much trouble these past 2 days. I’m able to get up when my alarm clock goes off but staying awake seems to be a problem.

I guess this is my body’s way of fighting back the sudden change in my sleep schedule. Through out the entire morning, my eyes are heavy, I’m constantly yawning, and idling around drives the urge to crawl back under my blanket a lot stronger.

Maybe I should do something about the time I go to sleep. No matter how hard I try I can’t seem to fall asleep before 2 a.m. I find myself lying in bed trying to shut my mind off but it takes a long time. Warm milk and making the room colder didn’t work for me, maybe I should try soothing music tonight.

I woke up this morning wit a really painful muscle cramp in my right leg. It made it hard to walk around the house for about an hour. It’s been more than 12 hours already and I’m still feeling some pain in that area though not as painful as this morning. I wonder if this is really just the aftereffects of my muscles releasing so much amino acids there, kinda like the soreness one gets after lifting weights after so many months of being a couch potato. Hopefully this will all be gone by the time I wake up tomorrow.
