[W] Summer 2012: What I’m currently watching

Time has been flying by quickly. One month in the summer season has passed and there are 18 days left until I devote all of my free time to Guild Wars 2. I better get things going…

RPG got me to pick this one up. The story’s alright, the female designs are holding my attention enough to keep watching it.
Dog Days 2
Biscuits!
The first season was good and I’m happy that they’re back for a second season. I like how they are focusing on some of the side character for this run though RPG and I do hope that we get the main plot soon.
Hagure Yuusha no Estetica
I should learn how to do this
Another show I was planning on passing up until RPG told me to check it out. Fanservice is my main reason for watching but Akatsuki’s antics are pretty fun to watch.
Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere
I think Tori is trying to see how long he can go without clothes
It’s back! Oh how I missed the crazy things Tori gets away with. Tenzou is getting a lot of screen time this season. Another 13 episodes is still not enough for me. I hope Season 3 is in the works.
Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate
The fact that she’s voiced by Mai Kadowaki (Sanya’s voice actress) makes me want to comfort Isara even more ;__;
What I expect: Silly harem shenanigans with a little student council elections drama and chocolate fitting somewhere in between.
What I got: Running for Student Council 101 and BULLYING
It should be no surpise to anyone that good character designs tend to draw me in. Danbooru is not helping me fight this problem. This show is on break due to the Olympics.
Kokoro Connect
Miyuki Sawashiro’s voice is love. I’d let her yell at me no matter what character she’s playing.
I was not planning on watching this but I was curious enough to check out what all the fuss was about. For the most part, this show is not about the crazy hijinks one can do and get away with while in someone else’s body. It’s about 5 friends getting to know each other on a deeper level and helping each other get through Heartseed’s experiment.
With that said, Heartseed is an asshole.
Kono Naka ni Hitori, Imouto ga iru!

Before it started airing, I honestly can’t remember why I wanted to check this out because it’s just another harem show that I can shut my mind off while watching. It’s currently on break until the Olympics are over.
Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse
Wait… I thought this was going to be PSTD: The Anime
I wanted to get into the Muv-Luv universe and this show happens to be a good reason for me to start. After this show airs (and when I finally have time between GW2 sessions) I plan to pick up the visual novel. From what I hear, I better stock up on boxes of tissues before attempting it.
Rinne no Lagrange 2
Asteria giving Madoka the birds and the bees talk. There goes my nutbladder.
The Jersey Club is back to finish their story. Lan and Muginami’s return has been a bit awkward to watch but now that Vilajulio and Dizelmine are on a collision course for war, the story getting really interesting.
Sword Art Online
You can’t pretend to be the little girl in this MMO ( ﾟ∀ﾟ)ｱﾊﾊ八八ﾉヽﾉヽﾉヽﾉ ＼ / ＼/ ＼
I heard this was written by the same guy who wrote Accel World so I gave it a shot. The story is good though I’m not happy with a certain character’s death even with all of the death flags that were raised.
Arcana Famiglia
I couldn’t find anything interesting in this episode other than the owl
It was the first show out for the season so I decided to check it out. It only took one episode for me to decide that it’s not for me.
Finally got this done. Now all I need to do is work on my GW2 beta 3 weekend and my Saimoe 2012 selection post.
